April
Major - Best Ball
Solo - Poplar Creek

Hole 2 @ Sharp Park
Major - Best Ball @ Sharp Park
In May, the fog of war and the fog of Pacifica will collide to set the scene for a dramatic April major. The Squolf League will descend upon Sharp Park Golf Course, a fun course set against the back drop of the Pacific Ocean. At 6,165 yards and a slope rating of 124, this course is a perfect blend of scoreable and punishing, making Sharp Park the perfect host of the 2026 Best Ball Major. May the best duo win.
The Format: 2 player teams will compete in a best ball format. Each player will play their own ball from tee to green. The team's score on each hole will be the lower net score between the two players. Monthly handicaps will be applied to ensure both members of a team have a chance to contribute.
- Example: Cal (0 HCP) & Mike (15 HCP) are a team. On hole 1 (HCP 6), Cal scores a Par and Mike scores a double bogey. Mike's score will be adjusted to bogey based on handicap, but because Cal scored a par, the team's score for that hole is par.
2025 Winners: Alonso and Brandon with a score of 69
Solo - Poplar Creek (Gold Tees)
Nestled between Highway 101 and the San Francisco Bay, Poplar Creek Golf Course wastes no time setting the tone. The opening stretch is unapologetically demanding: a 500-yard first hole, a water-lined fairway on Hole 2, and a long par-3 third with trouble lurking short and left. Three holes in, you may be wondering why on earth we chose this as a solo round — and quietly begging for mercy.
Ask, and you shall receive. The back half opens up into forgiving fairways, short par 4s, and deceptively interesting par 3s that invite redemption. The round closes at a picturesque 18th green wrapped in water, offering one final moment of beauty (and mild panic). Poplar Creek shapes up as a round full of second chances — and a prime opportunity for Squolfers to chase personal bests.
