Hole 9 @ Spring Valley
Major - Drunk Scramble @ Spring Valley
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The annual Drunk Scramble never fails to provide some of the greatest memories of our young golf careers. Testing the limits of appropriate behavior on the golf course, there will be chunks, shanks, people stumbling across the fairway, and moments we will laugh about for years to come. The 2026 Drunk Scramble will take place at Spring Valley, per our hallowed traditions. The key to success? Finding that sweet spot between too drunk to golf and too sober to compete against the teams drinking.
The Format: 2 player teams will compete in a scramble format. Each drink you complete will count as a stroke off your score.
- Example: John and Alonso shoot a score of 77 and drink 24 beers, bringing their score to 53. Kankshat and Jason shoot a score of 79 and drink 27 beers, bringing their score to 52 and beating John and Alonso.
2025 Winners: Nate and Cal with a score of 45 (68 - 23 drinks)
Solo - Santa Teresa (Blue Tees)
As you turn down Polvadero Road into Santa Teresa Golf Club, two facts become immediately clear. First, you’ve entered a golfer’s wonderland, with wide-open fairways stretching in every direction. Second, your car could be struck by a golf ball at any moment — so you better floor it to the parking lot.
This lively course in the rolling hills of South San Jose offers two distinctly different nines. The front side welcomes you with flat, forgiving fairways and plenty of room for… slightly errant tee shots. Make the turn, and the mood shifts. Suddenly you’re navigating steep hills, sharp doglegs, and approach shots that demand precision.
Last year’s monthly at Santa Teresa delivered memorable moments: Javier shaved 35 strokes off his previous showing, Cal fired his first-ever round in the 70s, and Jon somehow recorded a mystical hole-in-one on a par-4. No pressure this year… right? Right?
